Greetings

On behalf of the InHERIT2023 Organizing Committee, we welcome everyone to this much-awaited third InHERIT Conference in Sibu, Sarawak. The organizing of the InHERIT2023 Conference is in conjunction with UTS Tenth Anniversary, which focuses on innovative digital technologies in safeguarding our cultural and natural heritage. The Conference is also part of UTS' commitment to building on the Borneo Regionalism niche and Digitalisation through collaborative efforts with our counterparts in Sabah, Malaysia and neighbouring countries of Brunei and Kalimantan, Indonesia.

InHERIT2023 has invited renowned experts and professionals as keynote speakers to discuss the conservation and sustainability aspects of cultural and natural heritage in the era of digitalization. We invite and welcome participants from all over Malaysia and other parts of the world to an inspirational and eye-opening conference experience. The Conference comprises various thrilling programs, including a day visit to the coastal town of Mukah, for the participants to experience the scenic vista, rich Melanau (aboriginal) culture, and local cuisines.

Once again, welcome to Sibu, the gateway to Central Sarawak and Malaysia's longest river, the Batang Rajang, where one can experience the diverse aquatic flora and fauna. We hope you will have a fruitful experience and enjoy the InHERIT2023 Conference.
